fished druridge bay last night 6.00pm til 10ish,and blanked never mind it was a lovley night for not catching fish,two lads further up from me had several small flatties (turbot,plaice and flounder)and a canny bass about 2 pound. i was using frozen lug and macky,they were using rag. it also a chance to use my abu 7000i which had just come back on friday from being repaired,. i cast out and it screamed like a banshee,i retreived the line, cast again, and the same happened,when igot home this morning opened it up to find a very small spring in a right mess in the workings of the reel, going to get another spring 2moz this reel has been a rite mare, wont have another,for all that am looking forward to some canny nite sessions off the beaches tight lines colin.
