    well what can l say had a great days fishing action all day till we moved down to the post the pier just went dead once the tide started ebbing l fished the end used fresh crab rag and mussle would of been a better day if l had'nt cracked my rod off the wall had a few cod undersized and undersized ytys moved down to the post but no luck my mate steve had nice plaice after that we headed home

                      Well done on your catches. Good to see some cod from the pier, I've had nothing but flatties from there lately. That photo does make them look small though.

                        yep and we will alll complain when there are no big fish will take all them for one meal ya cant get fillets of them

                          sorry lads ive just looked at the photo and they do look like sprats but believe me got some nice fillets one of them was 2lb took some over for my old man and me and the kids are having fish chips and mushy pea's tomorrow
