fancied a quick spinning session from 6 till 8 this evening me and 2 pals went to roker pier walking on and there was only about 25 people on so that was a bonus just bought spinning rod and reel off paul ftm the night before and had plenty of different spinners and plugs but as i had bought spinners off chris ( dusty bin) i thought lets try these
took the big rod as well with daylights as a back up
not a lot happening then on the spinning set up bang ....im in boys...
mint feeling rod banging all over with a lovely bend in it . great fight but it ended up one nil to me
cheers for my new set up nesa boys for a total ov £30 well worth the money a bargain
first makky of the season for me so as we are writing this the makky is prepared and marrinated to the same recipe that scotty 91 and the great wallsendo posted salt ,pepper,tomato purree and mild chilli sauce then mashed and put on toast
all in all a nice session not many caught on daylights but there was quite a few caught on float to be honest not a lot of rubbish about for a change
ps there was the biggest seal swimming around 15 yards in front of us i think it done a lot better than us

Yep it was hard going even on the float,had a few colies & 2 macky one colie around a 1lb.the seal poped his head up right next to me float,got a right shock
still great to be out & one amazing sunset.
