Fished crab law with jamcod yesterday, best day fishing in ages. jimmy quickly picked up a small cod about 1.8lb, followed by a better fish which hung up fifteen yards or so out. The bites were ferocious one almost pulled the rod out my hands but i just couldnt get one to hold on. Then i baited up with two big crabs and lobbed it out 35-40 yards. put the rod in the tripod and i hadnt even tightened the slack line up when it was bouncing in the rest. A really good scrap later and a beautiful looking four pounder on the rocks. Jimmy managed a few nice coalies and another small cod. i also hung up another. lost loads of gear. very hard work but great fun. and it tasted nice which is a bonus.

cambois rocks. in front of the two big windmills. theres a gully which depending on the size of tide cuts it off. sometimes you can see it but cant get on it.If they aint there you cant catch emComment
