plaice to be

    decided to have few hours on pier today, got down bout 10ish bit windy but acceptable with it near enough on back not much doing for first hour,then a couple of lads came along set up 20 yds to my right, first cast 1 of them pulle in 3 maki on 3 hook clip down rig ... his next cast a plaice up near the 2lb mark, followed by a few smaller ones and dabs, shortly after i hauls in a plaice bout 1.5lb a nd a few dabs till time to go home, sometime in the middle of my sesh a guy came alomg asking what this fish he had caught
    and one of the guys to my right said it was a turbott, it turn out to be nearly 3.5lb sorry not get all of fish on pic but daughter borrowed my camera for her engagnent party last night and not get it back, and had to use my craopy one,, where the view finder is broke and gotta guess lol

          Looks like a brill looking at the spines at the front but they are close relatives

            I think its a turbot mate, a brill is more oval shaped! Nice fish!
