With the forecast of wind and seas to rough for the kayak I ventured along to the end of Shields pier this afternoon. There I met up with Alistair and together we enjoyed a splattering of small under size codling. However as darkness fell I was thrilled to be rewarded with a 3lb 4oz version of the small stuff.
