i was out this morning at 9 in this location 58.893872,5.751772 (google maps )
anyway got there a little late and my mate Marty had started without me , within in 30 mins of him setting up he had 1 cod of about 2lb and one ling of about 10lb from the shore
anyway i get set up and out i go and within 2 mins BANG !! struck into the fish but it hung me up and i lost all me gear :-( next 2 casts the same so that 3 lots of gear gone in 3 casts ! anyway Marty is hammering the pollock one on ever cast roughly 45-55 cms
i finally gets me stuff together for the 4th cast and lob it out about 50 meters , within 10 mins i have a nice 4lb pollock on then marty shouts " gis a hand with this will ya !! " i look over to see him batteling with a beautiful plaice , i never seen one that big before !! i recon it was about 5 lb maybe more !
anyway Marty`s mrs calls and says he has to go shopping so he had to leave early
bloody women !
i stayed another 3 hours after that and landed another 3 pollock and almost landed a 10lb wolf fish !! the bugger bit through the line and snapped off on the lift
i have some pics that i will post later of the plaice ( hope its a plaice ) im sure you lads will let me know
