  • Thats it for a week

    Had a couple of hours at Blyth this morning 5am till7:30 got 4 maki 2 for the pot and 2 returned untouched
    all on float great fun
    winds turned of the sea again it started lifting in the short time I was there that and the rain looks like another week before its fish-able again
    I've got worms

    theres a big sea on again at hartlepool.

      we had the same idea after looking at the forcast, got on roker pier about 7.30 fished till 9.30 only got a coalie tho, missed the macky by about 40min
      2012 Species (so far)
      Flounder, Dab, Whiting, Coalfish, Codling, Pollock, Pouting, Scorpion fish, Mackerel

          technically I blanked my rod didn't remember the flattie you got while I was helping you set a float up. Plus i'm sure its you your a jinx

            if your going to get up early for the mackerel, you need to be there for first light.

            you wouldnt believe the number of times weve hammered them at first light then watch the late risers turn up after 6.30 wondering why they have missed them.
