Well done on your session, Im guessing by light gear you were spinning, probably the most sporting way to do it, great fun on lighter gear, good to see you had fun mate.

Anyone living in Sunderland should get there summer supply of beer n backy now as the shops will no longer have enough stock to accommodate the hardcore fisherman with their daily requirements!

Meaning now every chav & his dog will litter the costline of the north east ****ting ****ing and taking drugs to catch a bag full of mackerel just to dump them at the end of the pier

I was at Blyth this morning..........t'was chavless. well....except for me, I did have a pair of nike airmax and tracky bottoms on

No beer or drugs though......or mackerel for that matter.
Just me and me light spinning gear and another bloke who fishes there all year but likes a bit of macky bashing in the summer.

Caught nowt but the crack was good. The water in the channel was like oxtail soup though...probably better off in the shallows later on in the flood.

                        ta.

All I'm saying is based on last year roker pier was a disgrace because of the chavers. And did I say chavs were only found in the northeast? And I'm not arguing with you about where the nuggets of the north reside just expressing my own opinion

Was out sailing yesterday and slung some daylights out and trolled up to windmills and back. Had half a dozen all told, all decent fish.Looks like they are just off shore at Blyth.
