    Forgive my daft face. I was pretty chuffed with this Bass from Blyth on Saturday night. It was the only chance I've had to sling a bait out for ages and it was the last time I'll be able to fish until after Xmas. Second last cast too. A big razor bait on a pennell did the business. 2lb 13oz.. My best bass yet. Santa came early again

        some nice bar's been reported from the beach,
        where did you get it, eg , band stand , groin's, rance, pipe.....?

          Middle bogs, Davey - just after HW. There was a big, lazy surf on. It did look ideal for Bass. No codling about, but there were size flatties and coalies about too.

            Well chuffed for you Ross. Had my first year really targeting bass and have managed 6... Nowhere near that big though! Lovely specimen mate, well done
