hi everyone , its been a while . was out last week for the first time in months . fished a place called marerio in stavanger . bait used was mackeral and shrimp.
set up using pully rig and cast out about 60 meters ( 50 meters dept ) according to the maps . Anyway nothing for the first hour , then changed to a combo of mackeral and shrimp . cast it out around the same spot and within 10 mins the rod was almost pulled into the fjord .
struck into it and my god what a fight i thought it was a 10lb er :-)
anyway it hung me up for about 5 mins and then i decided to bully it a little , managed to get it to the shore and pull it in , nice 4lb ling .first time i have caught one. so thats a new PB for me ;-)
ill see if i can post some pics its been a while so im not too sure on how to do it :-)
out again tomorrow to another spot , acording to the map im using its 100 meters deep from 50 meters off the shore line

Nice one Daren m8 but is that all you got but better than nowt i suppose and a nice pic of the ling.
