    fished blyth beach today. 5 flounders 4 were size, but also had a nice turbot 39cms. lovely warm day no wind, lifes sweet................

    did you weigh the Turbot mate or get any pics its a cracking fish

        Species 2012 - Cod, Flounder, Dab, Plaice, Pollock, Eelpout, Common eel, Granny Fish, Whiting, Coalie, LSD, Rockling, Bass.

          Blyth beach

          Its a great area to fish had some good times there and the turbot are lovely looking fish to look at ok more luck in the future M8T---

            What bait were they took on?
            Species 2012 - Cod, Flounder, Dab, Plaice, Pollock, Eelpout, Common eel, Granny Fish, Whiting, Coalie, LSD, Rockling, Bass.

              excellent mate turbot are my target species this year always fancied fishing for them but never have . what bait were you using when you caught it mate.

                  lots of small turbot up at druridge in the summer if you want to add a species. We were catching them behind the first breaker on mackie strip.

                    i've had some cracking flats off blyth beach this year but its unusual 2 get a turbot off blyth beach, i've seen many from drurige & walkworth.
                    but well done on ya catch m8 well worth the time fishing.

                            turbot

                            ragworm tipped with mackerel was the bait. had them at embleton beach, warkworth and duridge but first one from blyth. sorry no pics lads, but still flatties around till boat season starts next month.
