  • Middle Toilets - canny sport

Had a few chucks at the middle toilets on blyth beach tonight to use up some bait. Turned out to be a canny night. A bite every chuck. Ended up with 5 whiting, one of which was a pb, a decent flattie and a rockling. Would have stayed longer but ran out of lug. Tried a couple of chucks with mussel and had a clonking bite on one of them. Whatever it was did off though. Still an enjoyable session though, despite the cold.

Well done mate, I wish I'd gone there for my club match as tonight's weigh in was pretty dire - looks like Blyth beach would have been the place to be!

Park at the tiolets and walk straight down on to the beach, go left about 120/150 yards usually a good spot, happy hunting.Ray
