      Were you fishing a rotton bottom. I do when the grounds heavy. 45 lb line straight through.

            If you were fishing the right hand corner as you face the river then there is a double snag if you're casting to the right. If I ever cast that way and hit it I can get through the first one but get hung up on the next, I reckon its rope or a net as it's not solid and has a bit give but you never get out of it!

              aye we fish here pretty often so tend to know where to put our bait. got out of a snag in same spot last week took 15 mins but got out was only using f1 15lb line aswel.
