  • Tyne the 20th of Jan

Fished a few marks along the Tyne last night with two friends we caught
    • Billquay : 1 small Codling
    • The police launch : nothing but Crabs
    • Church bank : 2 small Codling 7,whiting and 1 decent size Coalie

Very windy last night and hard to spot a bite still enjoyable seen two lads paddling a rubber dingy down the Tyne last night too must be mad !

Also went to fish the Oil jetty down Jarrow but it was very busy so we ended up at Church Bank

Most fish caught on Rag Tipped with Mackerel>

Did not take any pictures sorry as the weather was terrible !

They seemed a bit dodgy just young lads asked if we had any lines in the water. We had to reel in i said to them "they must be mad "They said our dad has set us off from Blaydon and was picking them up at Hebburn Boat club" we were at Billquay at the time !

We thought we were seeing things at first beacause no lighting where we were fishing. The two Theives had no life jackets on just tracksuits >

Makes you mad you save and scrimp to have little pleasures in life and little no marks go and do that

i think it is in the hands of the police now-the dinghy cost the lad 400 pound-it was taken off the pontoon-
