  • Sandsend cliffs

Fished sandsend cliffs last sunday and ended up with a new pb of just over 6lb and a 3lb and lost 2 fish 1 got knocked off at bottom of the cliff by a big wave and the 2nd got snagged up. I was well chuffed as I have not had many this winter season. The bigger one weighed 5lb 14oz on the kitchen scales the next morning after being left in the garage all night.

                    Mick.

It's a nice spot Mick you should give it ago sometime. Your well sheltered when the wind is blowing like hell off the land. I really like fishing up there.

Couple of cracking fish, shame about the lost ones. Are the clifftops very slippy?? probably heading over that way and then down to dimmo after christmas .

No they are not to slippy at all put it this way I have fished up there when there has been snow on the ground. It would be no different than walking along a pier with no rails.
