I decided on a couple of hours after a look-see down Blyth after work last night.I got there about 8ish single clipped down rig, big baits rag lug razor on a sakuma atlantic 4/0 pennel. First three casts "bugger all" not a sniff baits came back looking better than they went out. Time for a change of tactics 1up 1down 1/0 nordics, baits runnydown/razor and a lazy lob 50yds no more "Bingo" back leg of the stand came up , there wasn't any need to strike it had nailed itself and after a canny little tussle was rewarded with nice codling of 5lb 4oz. That was it I'm afraid after a couple more casts I was off to thaw my ghonards out.
