  • Last night (Fri) on the Beach

    With still a little bit sea running and a flooding tide decided to hit the beach, there wasnt alot of bites, my mate had a good flounded and i had a codling 4 half pound which was nice.

            well done davy was it the big beach l was thinking of hitting it seems to be a bit patchy everywere else

              Aye stan it were Lynemouth mate, not as big as Tayla tho would be nice to catch one her size.

                Jim me and me mate fished the end of shields on thursdays from 7 am until 3pm i had 1 flattie and a whiting, it was soul destroying no codling sea and tide were perfect.

                Need a big cold front from the north bring some sub zero conditions and some nice sea with it to push the cod back in and send the crabs back out into deeper water. Also a bit rain wouldnt go a miss to flush them out the upper parts of the river and back onto the shore.

                      l your rite gonna hit the pier later on tonite or first light see how l feel later when wor lass gets back as long as l dont blank ill be happy
