Fished from 1030am-6pm. 2 windy to detect any bites. And I'm a now believe that the Groyne dosent fish on big tides!!! Nowt until about 4pm then landed 2 small Whiting and a Small Flounder...

We fished the Walkway this afternoon, thought it was you on the Groyne Steve.
The wind was bad where we were so it must have been hellish on there, 10 out of 10 for persistence.
I blanked today but bite detection was tough. Had a good afternoon anyway and met another NESA member Mark1964. Great to meet you mate. Gradually starting to put faces to the names on here

I lads. I could see a fair few fluorescents on the Walkway! Lol...
Think it was just 1 of those Fishless Days!!! Just couldn't get the distance on the cast! Tried a few chucks into the Bay, but I like to aim for that channel!!!
no fishingmark,didnt catch anymore but bumped into another member, here.got plenty of advise of him about the walkway though, and the fact the tide was to big for us to fish today. wish i had found out sooner.might give a shot of churches bank tomorrow. well see.
nah the guy with 2 rods was me up in front of the white bungalow had 10 small whitys 3 mini codling n a small flounder all caught on the carp gear size1hooks 10yrds out fun fishing at its best couldnt get a bite on the heavy gear like you say wind was a pain
