    fished rokers area 6:30-11pm it was slow untill half 9 with only a couple of coalies then just into the flood came 2 cod first one 2 1/4lb and second one 1 1/2lb, my mate robbie got a bass about 1 1/2lb. couldnt stand the rain anymore so went home.

            nice one lads. dont like the look of rokers much tho it floods behind ya to quick. Ill give it a go in daylight soon lol

                    Couple of canny fish m8 Well Done, i fished Lyneburn beach last night 6pm till 9pm lovely little sea on but blanked.

                        Three of us fished there on Saturday night too but nobody could hold bottom because it was choked up with weed. I lost 2 shock leaders trying to haul in the weed. We moved further along to the Rokers but blanked.
                        I'm surprised that you could manage to fish at all with all that weed about.
                        Did it clear up on the flood?

                          yeah the weed was quite bad but a very short hoy was the trick.

                            Good effort!

                            Well done on producing the fish! Sounds like you had to think on and use different tactics in order to beat the weed! Makes it more satisfying!
