haven't crossed the doors until last week when i went up to RAF Leuchars for the airshow .didn't get any fishing done until today so with it being canny outside i dropped our lass off at work n had a spell at the walkway in shields.had 2 rods with me and got the 1st set up with 2 hooks n put it out at distance, knock ,knock two whiting one size and the other just under.re baited and put it out to where it was before and tried to get the second rod set up but no sooner did i get the reel on then knock, knock in again.I was planing to use crab on the big rod but never got a chance for an hour, fish after fish on rag n bluey.finally got the 2nd rod in the water and it mustn't have touched the bottom when it went over ,thinking it was the tide pulling i left it to re bait the other rod and by the time i had done that the 2nd rod was going ballistic.
as some of you know i have breathing difficulties and by now i was huffing n chuffing waiting for a break that didn't seem to come .out going tide started to pull a little faster and i started to get a few snagged up and the whiting eased off.by 11 o'clock i had 15 fish out and started to run out of rag n bluey 3 being undersized codling(just).crab baits only seemed to interest the crabs with double shots of them a few times.

most of the whiting were just making size with 3 being under.
all in all a canny morning, sun ,sea , fish n fish n fish etc,etc .where are they all coming from???

never thought about that, then again they were just short of size n might be ripped off when casting.
