slight delay in this pot had 10 days up at the caravan last 2 weeks in august,

Day 1 fished hairyness using fresh crab and spinning caught 15 Mackerel 3 coalie and 2 2lb coddling on crab.

Day 2 fishing same venue 12 Mackerel 2 coalie no coddling this time.

Day 3 same venue onle mackerel this time about 25 in 2 hours.

Day 4 decided for a change went to the cannons first chuck bait in the water no more than 30 second and rod started nodding away pulled in a codding about 4lb,baited up and in the water no more than 30 seconds nice bite which was another coddling of 2lb,next chuck was a small coalie next chuck wa baiting up another rig could hear a creaking noise looked up to see rod bent doulble in the stand, quickly picked it up another sharp pull struck and missed it reeled in a few minutes later to find 25lb trace snapped off, unforutnatly no more fish that day.

had a day snorkling up at coldingham bay saw loads of nice size coalie about 100yds off the beach lying just in front of a reef also a few wrasse and flattys masses of sand eels.

next trip out went to the back of the golf course first cast with the spinner hooked a mackerel which was ripped off by a seal along with the spinner nealy crapped myself was like a seen from jaws hit the fish very hard ended up with about 18 mackerel ran out of fresh and frozen crab after this sesh so just had to stick with spinning few more trips out only mackerel but lots of them.

    cheers mark

its ok if theres no big swells and the rocks are not wet as they become very slippy the bottom is very rough lost loads of sinkers over the 10 days i was up there

                          cheers mark
