  • Done by the grandson

Took the grandson fishing this morning as he's been begging for his first sesh. Only 4 so decided on the wansbeck mouth for safety. Planned to get some bait from Lewis's but was shut, good job sport and leisure was open. Got there at about 11ish and just the main thin channel to fish with the tide being out.

Nice sunny morning and a really nice place though the wind was strong.

1/2 hour later he catches his first fish-

Not bad for yer first fish like, flounder well over a pound.

No other fish caught but he pulled up crab after crab, I blanked apart from seaweed like, despite putting all the dodgy worms on his hook and keeping the biggins for me, backfired ehh!!

Eventually had to play the 'there's no worms left card' to get away. Another one blooded.

    Really enjoyable morning.
