Headed up with carl last night fo a luring, ended up with 8 or 9 macky 3 cloaley (upto 2lb) and a pollock (about 3lb) between us. I Had a cracking take off the Pollock the lure was almost out the water when i saw it hit it like a Steam Train and started taking line. Just goes to show how close in these fish can be.

Just a 28g silver spinner. I always find it better to cast along the rock edge back towards the castle to find the Pollock mate, they tend to be quite close in.

Well done , sounds like a great session that! Anyone tried spinning off the rocks along the walk up to the castle (walking from Craster)? Any good?
