This isnt strictly shore fishing ive been fishing from my Kayak so i dont go to far out hench sharing it with the shore lads, (me in winter)

went out just south of newbiggin north of the wansbeck yesterday managed 3 cod first one up was 7lb next 2 were about 4.5 lb and a couple of coalies.

Sorry forgot to say they were caught on lures first one on hokki's next two after the tackle monster at the bottom of the sea had claimed a lot of payment were caught on home made lures silver hook with green nylon strand's i thought they would look like a small squid in the water.
