did you remove the cog and everything that goes with the level wind as the cog turns and makes a noise

Could be a buckled spool, had the same problem changed the spool now quiet as a mouse.

This will be the answer to your problem, balancing the spool is trial and error with your line lay on the 1st 50yds or so.

My money is on the bearings needing to be replaced.
If the spool end shafts were bent or out of alignment, you would feel that when reeling in.
When you cast, and you've removed the level wind drive mechanism, the only bits moving are the spool and the bearings; and when they're shot, bearings make a hell of a noise.
Put new bearings in and I bet the noise goes away.

There is another possibility; although it's very rare. Make sure that the ratchet (clicker) is releasing properly. If it is making even slight contact with the cog on the spool; that will make a noise when casting too.

cheers for the advice im gonna look into getting a new set of bearings i was looking at formular bearings yesterday but i no u can get ceramic bearings i dont no whitch 1s woul be the best 1s to go for tho also the spool cannot be buckeld because i alway wrap the line round my arm a few times before trying to pull out of a fast hold as ive been told it can buckle the spool if i was to just leave it and pull all the tention would go on the reel and cause a problem like that

Did you ever get this problem solved? And what was it?
The answer could help other people in the future.
