Fished port Carlisle with my son 2 hours up 2 hours down. First cast both of us had a decent flounder and for the next hour plenty flounders came in. Then for some reason, maybe the small tide the bites vanished until about an hour after high water then the flounders came in steady again with several double shots, also had a double shot of eels. In total I had around 20 fish my son had about 8 including the best flounder of the day about 1lb 12oz, so not as prolific as some sessions over here but still not bad when taking into account the very small tide. Tried the spoon with no success. All fish fell to fresh crab, my son tried rag but no bites at all on it.
Back in the car now to grab a few hours kip before we fish the mornings tide before heading back home. Will post a report and pics when I get home tomorrow afternoon.
