    Just been looking out my top window watching the lightening over the piers, wouldnt like to be there now with 13 foot of carbon fibre in my hand

                  Got caught in a winter storm a few years back, lightning flashing every few minutes....I have to admit it was pretty awkward, when your rod tip is nodding away and you have to calculate, the timing between flashes to reel the fish in.

                    Sod that I would of waited until the storm passed before going anywhere near the rod personally, maybe I am a *u$$y lol.

                            was fishing frazers a few years ago and the flashy stuff started and struck a crane across the river ah was frightened to reel me gear in to do a bunk !

                              A certainly heard the Thunder from my house yesterday, but couldnt see any flashes of lightning??

                              A always look forward to a good thunderstorm, but yesterday's was a bit bleak to be honest... Seen flashes in the distance but was unfortunate not to be able to see any bolts of lightining.

                              At least a wasnt fishing the pier, would have got a 'crackling' view then...
