2hrs before high decided to go on prom at st Mary's, nice movement in water.
Couple of hard one hitters and on the turn a small Coke, around 10 others also there, quite a few on Whitley beach as mid to southern end lovely sea running.
Went up to Blyth pier from 8pm until around 11pm, again a couple of 1 hard hits leading to nothing.
Seaward side of pier on the bend been scouted out as a lot of rocks now exposed on seabed covering quite a big area, must have been previous heavy seas as water depth in a lot deeper too.
