  • Walkway, Blyth, Small beach at Littlehaven.

Hello lads. Thought I would update you re my fishing ventures last few days.
Last Friday 8th Jan I was itching to get out fishing with the big seas on so got some worm and headed to the Walkway.
As I walked around the corner saw a lovely plump Cod of about 6 lb just landed. Thought get in. Unfortunatly it turned out to be a very very poor day. Constant rain and wind and no Cod to be seen. I ended up with two whities one of which I kept.
On Sunday 10h Jan jumped in motor and decided on Blyth. Unfrozen Blacks and Bluey baits of the day. This day was exactly the opposite to Friday. I had three lovely Codlings. 3.5 lb, 3.4lb and 2.6 lb all from the beach. I also had half a dozen whities and couple of flatties.
Last night fished comp with my mate. We were at South Shields fishing a dropping tide so decided on beach out back of Littlehaven hotel. We had a quiet session with Coalies and Whities and flatties order of the day.
Feeling a bit fished out now and getting stuff sorted for our trip to Flatanger Norway early Feb.
    Tight lines Mick.
Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.
