Desperate to get on Seaham pier yesterday but took some good advice from a cunning old fox, from down there, before we travelled and finished up in the Tyne for a bit of shelter. Fished from 2-6 with me pal, had two nice codling each between 2 and 3lb, few decent size flounders and a couple of tiddlers before the tide turned and the massive trees started coming down the river.

Lost a nice fish on a ledge about 25 yards out, but heyho good day.

Had some bait left, so off down to Roker for a pig, two or three casts with baits bigger than me flask but to no avail. Pleased to see Codfather145 come along which meant i could give the bait away and bog off.

NB Stan lead lifts seemed to work mate, a think you and the boys would benefit using them with your FS set up and the fast retrieve.
