I really do enjoy my summer fishing, has its ups, (Plaice, mackerel, weather), and it has its downs, (chavs, idiots, cans of beer, rubbish al over).
I must admit though i love winter fishing even more... Standing on the end of the pier, flask in hand, big bait cast out into the murky depths, watching the rod tip sway with the swell, sipping tea while the chill of the northerly wind blows in your face, shivering with the cold..... and the ambition of a big cod taking your bait!
These are the sessions I strive for every winter, so a cant wait till then. But for now, am gonna enjoy what the summer has to offer, and have alot of fun doing it!South Shields & District SAC
