What else can a say, anybody got any foglamps??!!.
Got to end of pier around 1.15pm only to find 4 other anglers, 2 of which were feathering for mackerel. Anyways, had two rods set up and started firing baits out there for some fish. The first few hours were hard going, with me only pulling in the odd coalie or dab now and then. My mate Ryan (superMAGgiure) turned up around 5pm to join me. Later, around 7pm, the fish started feeding steadily, with me and Ryan catching just sized coalies and good sized dabs. Also met another member (pop39), and had some canny conversation. Packed up at 9.30pm. Couldn't see anything walking down the pier, the fog was really bad all day, but still a canny day fishing non the less.
Also for any interested, the were some good sized horn eels being caught using feathers/daylites. This is the earliest I've ever seen these...
