    went down to the pier yesterday with one of my mates, hes just a starter so set him up a float (nothing better than seeing it dive down) and left him to it while I went spinning off the front and sides... tried spinners and shads with nothing...

    Thats when me setting the depth of the bait to low produced a 1lb-1lbhalf plaice... on float , all you heard was do I reel in now and I asked if he was changing his worms and he went no its gone down lol.

    That was one up for the new lad.... not long after that.... 2 up! with a little granny fish. At this point I was ledgering with a rag which resulted in my granny... new species since I never caught one before!

    My instinct kicked in to put a jelly worm on to get myself on our table!!... started ledgering.. my instinct was well off, nowt

    Got me ass handed to me by my mate.. cracking day and sunburn to prove it!.. as you've guessed... pics to follow... there on 2 phones and a camera I think lol.

          but bait fishings no good lures only if you wanna stand a chance on the . . . . LURE CHALLENGE!!

            Getting me species from SS pier then off to craster at somepoint to get me pollocks sorted pluss all summer for the basserds
