St marys 6/3/11

fished st marys yesterday between 7.30 and 12. Fished rear right as there were already lads on the left where id planned to fish. Anyway id never fished the mark before but soon found out the ground is rough as anything id fished before and the kelp was all over the place. I managed the ground a bit better than me father in law and stepdad tho as they lost about 15 sinkers between em lol. I ended up with 3 rockling the father in law 1 rockling and my stepdad blanked. Still a canny morning out and checked out me new rod (sonik sk3) was pleased with it.

yeah pal it has a ruff bottom like most of our productive coastline...use a rotten bottom link to save on some losses
