horden beach

Myself Mick and Jeff had a look down horden beach tonight 26/02/2011, we fished next to the white rock, the sea was quite flat and so we weren't expecting much,we fished from about 6.00pm until 10.30pm it was a short sesh for us but i have metal detecting early tomorrow, so we made the most of the time we had, bait used ---rag [very good quality] and sticky blacks. There was 4 fish caught ,two flattys, 1 whiting and 1 rockling, all fish returned to fight another day, took the jeep down , you should see the state of it now he he he, never seen it so muddy, good fun though, good to get out of the house, good company and fish as well ,quite a few people fishing, must have been a comp on , anyway a good night out was had by all.

There was a comp on , not sure what . I fished Dene Holme end two decent knocks but no connection hooks comming back stripped most of the time. Good to get out in fresh air .

We had the same problem , after 10 mins our hooks were stripped bare , never saw a crab bite indicated on the rod tip, must have been one of those houdini creatures he he
