Alright Everyone,
Sorry about the late post (Bluetooth Playing Up) Me and my mates fished the silvers on sunday, Only the second time we have fished this mark so just testing the water so to speak. We got onto the mark around 2 1/2 hrs before low water, Low water only been a 0.1m tide so we knew it would empty out pretty quickly. My mate got a 2 1/2lb codling first cast (He has just started fishing the last few months) and we thought we were going to be into fish straight away My other mate caught a descent flounder around the 1lb mark so things were looking good, But i still had'nt caught and was getting a bit worried about another blank before we had to leave the silvers on our quest for cod. Well a couple of more chucks and yes i did blank on the this mark
Anyway we came back down the coast to our local mark (Boghall) We opted to fish the high sides straight of the front as the square hole has drained out quite a bit. Two of my mates went to the south of the mark and i stayed north and got onto the small island right at the point. A couple of bites for me but did'nt connect, Never seen my mates until i gave up and headed to where they were laughing there heads off because john who always out fishes me on boghall had another two codling both around 1 1/2lb. And it was yes another blank for me.
Tightlines,
Swally
