Parton Wed 9th

Fished Parton tonight, with my dad, 6 til 9.30. First session this year due to work and DIY. Also first session with my new rod & reel (Century Kompressor Sport S and Mag 525). Bait used was rag, squid, mackeral and razor. my dad got 2 small flatties and a whitie and I got a flattie and a decent whitey. Sadly didn't christen my new rod as both of mine were on my other rod. Liking the rod and reel. mag is extremelly smooth.

the rods been out the bag and cast in anger,just a pity the fish wernt to know,but at least ya managed somit out,well done for both.

looks like a fat whitey to me, poutin are usally alot more round and have a little beard like cod.
