    though it would have been put on by now a 14lb 9oz cod caught by south shields club member phil coates on south east, s/shields pier yesterday there is picture of it and can not believe its not been put up yet as plenty of pictures taken of it. I would put them up but my usb cable lead knackered, if a can get a lend of a cable i will put pictures up

          heard it was 14lb 11oz, not that we will quibble over 2oz, best cod so far this winter, just heard apparently it was in a South Shields AC match and it might of won the match and heaviest fish.

              I'm sure the captor would disagree Alan, those extra two ounces will make all the difference to him Stonking fish and a big well done to the angler concerned.

              Always makes me laugh this one, people chasing reports of a fish that has already been caught. Still if it makes for more room for the rest of us on other marks then let them go for it

                well done-full of roe i bet. I was trying for one off the Heugh but had no luck-still you,ve got to be in it to win it.

                  Dont put any pics up mate, I am going to do the club results 2morra and I have top quality pictures to put on to.

                  If u would like to see these pictures lads please look on nesa after 11am tomorrow and look at the Shields club results.

                    it was 14lb 11oz when it was caught,and weighed 14lb 9oz bout 1 hour and3/4s later when officially wieghed
