Arrived at the pier around 8pm, found one lad fishing the elbow, he said he'd been there a while but he hadn't had a bite. There were about 6 lads fishing of the end. When I asked them they had not caught a thing either.
My brother and I thought we'd give it a go anyway although the conditions didn't look too good sea with such a flat calm sea.
One by one the other lads started to disappear slowly.
got my first decent bite just before midnight, turned out to be a little flounder the size of my palm.
Carried on fishing till about 2am without any further action, so packed up and left.
Bait used for flounder was Rag and squid, other baits tried were razor, frozen black, mussel, peeler again in a variety of concoctions with no luck.
Should be out again tonight, may try other marks any recommendations ?
