well was lucky enough to have two day off tues and wed and decided to go get some gear and bait (cost is close to £60) and headed off to blyth for about 11am ended up staying there until 6.15 and not even a bite was using rag,mackeral and squid. there was a guy on the pier and he had just bought his bait a few hours earlier 7 bags of rag must have been there 3 hours and just give up.
gave me his bait about 5 bags worth (teers mate) so headed home for me tea.headed back out local to the rubber factory for about 1030pmish and first couple casts some great bites but to no avail got to about 3ish and packed up with still nothing in the bag.
so still with a load of bait in the fridge headed down the royal quays on the wedensday morning about 10ish 11 nowt 12 nowt 1 nowt 2 nowt 2.30 a bite reeled in BUZZING I WAS first fish a codling no bigger than me big toe haha but hey it was me first fish and me only fish in about 20 hours fishing any way headed home about 6ish the best thing over the two days was that arsenal won........bring back the fish.....
