  • South of Amble but North of Creswell!

Fished the Amble club match with Darren and Adam last night and plumped for staying local rather that heading up North where we have been getting a few recently. It just seemed as the Amble area had switched right off. Anyway it was a good choice as Darren got two codlings and missed a couple, Adam got one and I only had one bite all match fishing in the middle of them! It resulted in this:

My best one this season so far at just over 8lb. I am gutted to be off to work again this week for six weeks and miss the Amble open but good luck to all who fish,

    Graham.

not one bite on the flood.

its made me think again about you saying it been a ebb mark.

mind there should of been more fish

Nice fish Graham, good to hear a few are starting to show. Funny how it's coinciding with the weather warming slightly

I was going to fish Cullernose as most of our comp was fished on the ebb Deans but I had a stinking hangover from New Years Day and couldn't be bothered with the drive to see a few people on then having to go somewhere else! I was welded to my setee until the last possible minute! I always fish it on an ebb with a Northerly sea,the bigger the better as I have said before! Were there many on apart from yourself?
Been getting most of my fish recently on razor.
I still haven't got my flight details for going away yet Tony so if I am lucky I might scrape the Amble Open! I hate missing it, hopefully the fish will show, did you have any other bites than the two you got?
