  • Roker Pier 30-Dec-2010

Fished Roker Pier from 19-00 until 00-30 with my mate Dave. There were a few already on the pier & the sea was flat but it was a warm night & no wind.
Got set up & straight away caught a small whiting followed by a little bit bigger one.
There were plenty of flounders being caught all around. It wasn’t long before I got my first flounder of the night.

Not long after this I managed a rare codling which was about 1 1/2lb.

It was the only codling I seen caught on the pier.
I ended up with 3 whiting, 1 codling & 4 flounders. My mate Dave ended up 2 whiting & 2 flounders.
All fished returned safely. Nice night to be out.
I will only be out for a couple of hours pet.
