well went out last night at a mark near amble at 8pm high tide was 12.30ish. bites from the off i managed a 2lb codling first cast then was pestered with colies for an hour which kept me on my toes. then came another 2 codling of 2.5 lb and 3nd quarter lb one after the other. the bites then dried up n the cold set in so called it a night at 11.30. all the codling stuffed with sand eels. all in all better then a blank which i have the last 2 times

I think I might have been fishing just along from you mate? Met when you arrived? I ended up with four cod and a flatty, my brother had 5 cod and my mate had two cod and a huge flatty last cast, had a few podlers mixed in and a few bites which I still today don't know how I missed! Rod banging away and you strike into nowt! Biggest codling was about four and a half. Hope they are still there for tomorrow night in the club match!
