Well tried it again, ended up with 3 codling about 1 1/2lb each, put them all back safely. Not fishing a comp.
Seen 1 about 3-4lb pulled in next to me, north end of the sand bar.
Going to try to fish the hole at high water tomorrow

I gave it a try tonight, from 6 - 9.15, started south of the pipe about 50 yards, nothing doing, then move down about 100 yards north of the pipe, only seen 1 fish landed, about 2lb, I gave up & headed home without a touch, Sean

I seen u all camped out further north 5 or 6 rods. Where as last night u had the place to yourself.

....That's what the net does when u tell people exactly where u fished. Next time u'll not get on it.

I had 6 around that area tonight.

You have to go right to the north of the bar, or was that you fishing with your basket under your rod stand, cause after that guy left, somebody came about 30mins later and pulled out one 3-4lb.
As for letting people know, isn't that what this part of the forums about

The trawlers are not allowed to fish until January as they already have their numbers.
The seas will probs be too big for the smaller netting boats so we should be fine for a while.

No it wasn't me, but could see u from where I was fishing from the middle toilets. I was fishing a club match.

Fine and well telling people what u've caught and where from (I.E Blyth beach) but not Exactly what grain of sand u were actually standing on. All you're doing is giving onlookers free information that u've worked out for yourself.

...Next time u want to fish it u may be the one that catches nothing cos u can't fish your hole.
