Me & a mate of mine set of about 5.30 tonight from Ashington, 1st stop was white house sands @ amble, thinking it would be perfect up there tonight, conditions were perfect, weather was great, no wind or rain & a nice gentle roll coming onto the beach, there was about 8 rods out, 2 chucks & heavy kelp each time resulting in loss of tackle & line, everyone on there packed up by 7pm all very disappointed in the kelp, we headed south to lyneburn & spent the next 3 hours fishing on the pipe, sea conditions were raging to say the least after a few hours of not a touch we headed to blyth pier ! sea conditions flat as a fart ! a small roll coming in, had a bit crack with a few lads on there only to hear nothing doing since the turn of the tide, stayed on the pier until about 12.00, without a touch, thought we would just call it a night, got back to the car park & the surf though the whole in the wall looked great, so we decided to give it a bash just to use up the last of the bait, stayed untol 1.30am, same old story, not a touch, baits used tonight, rag, razor, lug & runnydown !
lets hope the bad luck ends soon, an expensive night out for nowt ! bait - diesel - scran, tabs.
