Went to the beach again lastnite started around 2000 hrs with me mate airborne,sea was flattening away all the time ... loads of other lads all the way down the beach towards the sluice ...
1st chuck str8 into a coley then went quiet for the next hr then a few more coleys after that,just below LW I caught a codling just over 2lb which was crammed full of sandeels then airborne caught a codling around the 2lb mark too. and he also caught a belter whiting around the 1 and a half pound mark... something that nice had to be returned..
I lost 2 decent size fish in the surf but thats fishing for ya...then a few more coleys till me and me mate called it a nite around 0200... all in all not a bad night, caught quite a few fish between us all returned alive and getting plenty of knocks thru the sesh
bait used was blacks runny down and crab
