6th Nov - church bank then shields pier

Started off at church bank at 12ish, nothing but flood water so decided to pack up after 45 mins and head down to shields pier. Talked to a couple of lads who were considering fishing at church bank for the comp, no idea who they were but would be canny to know how they did

Fished next to the huts at the pier until half 4, only small stuff (coalies, codling and a small flatty) using rag tipped with mackerel, but still enjoyed it, even got some candy floss from the fair, lol
