last nite on shields pier

Fished the pier from 9-3 with Bart and Gary. Started off at the first gate i had 1 small codling and 1 small coalie. Not much doing so we moved to the end and what a waste of time that was. With all the bait we had we thought we had a good chance of picking something up how wrong where we. Had a couple of knocks between the three of us but no fish. I think we should have fished in the river oh well there's always next time

I thats right m8 but it was the only chance i had to go. Thought we might at least picked up a daft one. I've been fishing the river alot lately and been having some great seshing. Hopefully the next time i fish the pier the weather will be right

Managed a flattie and a codling 1lb half on friday, after i had sorted the bedroom out in preparation for the lil one to arrive on the 14 Dec, i had a look out sunday night, 3 codling best 2lb, making the most while i can, cos the fishing is bound to get put on hold shortly !.
