out of at least 40 fishing only 1 mackaral was caught

never ever had a good day up at blyth just the odd fish take the grandkids up there they catch one or two off the wood jetty

We aim for the beach in our winter comps. Seems more productive than the pier.

never liked going on that wood pier as I feel very unsafe and its always windy
prefer to fish the beach
